LoL: Gameplay Assist PRD

To reduce early churn in League of Legends, I proposed Gameplay Assist — a beginner-only feature that automates item purchases and ability upgrades without compromising fairness. League's early experience overwhelms new players with itemization, skill leveling, and macro decisions while smurf-heavy beginner lobbies make learning feel punishing instead of rewarding.

Gameplay Assist addresses both problems by using timed recommendations with manual override, restricting assisted matchmaking to other assisted players or bots, and tapering support as players improve. The goal was to improve retention, build accuracy, and beginner queue health without turning automation into a permanent crutch.
